SpyHuman is monitoring software built for lawful, transparent, and consent-based use. This policy explains who may use it, the situations it is designed for, the uses that are strictly prohibited, and what happens if it is misused. It applies to everyone who installs, configures, or accesses data through SpyHuman, and it should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, EULA, Privacy Policy, and Data Protection notice. By using SpyHuman, you confirm that you have read this policy and that you will follow it. This is not fine print we hope you skip. It is the core of how we expect the product to be used.
SpyHuman is not a spying or secret surveillance tool. It is intended for parents monitoring their own minor children, for people monitoring devices they own, and for employers monitoring company devices with the user's prior knowledge and consent. Any other use is prohibited and may be illegal.
"Minor" means a person below the age of majority in their jurisdiction. "Device you own" means a device you legally own and control. "Employee device" means a device owned by an employer and issued to a worker. "Consent" means clear, informed, and freely given agreement by the person who uses the device, given without pressure and able to be withdrawn.
You may use SpyHuman only if all of the following are true:
If you cannot say yes to all three, SpyHuman is not for your situation.
A parent or legal guardian may monitor the device of a minor child for whom they are legally responsible, for the child's safety and wellbeing. Local law may set conditions based on the child's age, and you are responsible for following the rules where you live. Even with children, being open about monitoring, and talking to your child about it, is good practice and builds trust rather than resentment.
You may install and use SpyHuman on a device that you personally own, for example to locate your own phone, back up your own data, or manage a device you have lent out and control.
An employer may use SpyHuman on a company owned device only when the employee has been clearly informed in writing that the device is monitored and has consented, and monitoring stays within what is lawful and necessary for the business. Monitoring an employee's personal device, or monitoring in secret, is not permitted.
A parent installing SpyHuman on their 13 year old's phone, with the child aware, is a permitted use. A person installing it on their own spare phone is a permitted use. A company installing it on a work phone it owns, after telling the employee in writing, is a permitted use. Installing it on a partner's phone without their knowledge is never permitted, and neither is installing it on a friend's or relative's adult phone without their consent.
Consent is central to lawful monitoring. Except for a parent monitoring their own minor child within the limits of local law, you must have the informed consent of the person who uses the device before you monitor it, and where the law requires, they must also be notified that monitoring is taking place. Obtaining consent and giving any required notice is your responsibility, not ours, and you should keep a record of it where you can.
You must never use SpyHuman to:
These prohibited uses are not permitted even if you have physical access to the device and even if a notification is shown. Covert monitoring of another adult is illegal in many countries and is never an acceptable use of this software, whatever the reason.
Laws on monitoring, consent, location tracking, and communications vary widely between countries and even between states or provinces, and they change over time. Location and similar data are treated as sensitive personal information in many places, including India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Before you install or use SpyHuman, you are responsible for understanding and following the laws that apply to you. If you are unsure, seek qualified legal advice. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
If we have reason to believe that SpyHuman is being used in a way that breaks this policy or the law, we may suspend or terminate your account and access without refund, and we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities where required. Using the software unlawfully is your responsibility, and it may expose you to civil and criminal liability. We would rather refuse a sale than support a use that harms someone.
If you believe you are being monitored without your consent, your safety comes first. Contact your local authorities, or a trusted support organisation or domestic abuse helpline in your country, for advice on your situation. You can also write to us at [email protected] to report suspected misuse of our software, and we will act on credible reports.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or the product, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Questions can be sent to [email protected], and our support team runs 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST, Monday to Saturday, by email and live chat only.
